This lovely fascimile of "King Charles I & The Tobacco Trade; The Proclamation of Jan. 6 1630-1631" was produced by the Virginia State Library in 1952 in honor of Martha W. Hiden, in recognition of her service to the library.
 
The folio measures 19-3/4" by 13". The 8 pages (including covers) are printed in red and black ink on Linweave's early American paper. In the center fold you will find the fascimile of the proclamation, all bound with black cotton thread.
 
Minor wrinkles and wear, overall good condition (see photos).
